ARI Essay Contest Changes a Life - Ayn Rand Institute.
Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.ARI has held worldwide essay contests for students on Ayn Rand’s fiction for more than thirty years. The goal is to expose young people to the thought-provoking ideas in Rand’s works. ARI is happy to announce the winner of the 2015 Anthem essay contest.Ayn Rand Center has set a goal to reach out to the young generation that hasn't yet discovered Ayn Rand writings and publications. We hold on annual nationwide essay contest for students in high schools and support student groups looking to deepen their familiarity and understanding of the philosophy of Ayn Rand.
ARI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to ARI in the United States are tax-exempt to the extent provided by law. Objectivist Conferences (OCON) and the Ayn Rand Institute eStore are operated by ARI. Payments to OCON or the Ayn Rand Institute eStore do not qualify as tax-deductible contributions to the Ayn Rand Institute.Essay must be postmarked no later than May 15, 2018, no later than 11:59 PM, Pacific Standard time.The Ayn Rand Institute has the right to provide contest deadline extensions when deemed appropriate. Essay must be solely the work of the entrant.
