Some students will have previous experience with AVID at the middle grades, and some students will be experiencing AVID for the first time. Either way, the ninth grade AVID Elective course will serve as a review of the AVID philosophy and strategies. Students will work on academic and personal goals and communication, adjusting to the high.Please include the class, percentage, and grade from Quarter II and semester 1.If you have a grade lower than 70% please explain why. Please note this is a grade.The AVID 9 curriculum provides purpose and direction for students as they progress through high school. Starting with ensuring a mastery of organization and Cornell Notes at the start of the year, AVID 9 will progress through goal setting and creating a road map of their work for the next 4 years of high school.
